Rihanna is not a happy camper.

Amid the Ray Rice domestic violence controversy and the NFL’s attempts to diminish their role in knowing about video of the horrifying incident, CBS decided to pull Rihanna’s song from the opening intro during last week’s Thursday Night Football.

And well, Rihanna was not happy, accusing CBS of punishing her for Ray Rice’s actions. The Bajan pop star got on Twitter this morning and aired out her frustrations.

But to play devil’s advocate, the network decided to pull Rihanna’s intro song from Thursday Night Football‘s opening game for one good reason. “Run This Town” was to premiere during a game where the Baltimore Ravens were scheduled to play the Pittsburgh Steelers, and with Rihanna’s history of being a domestic violence victim, the network thought it would be inappropriate.

Either way, the network faced criticism from domestic violence groups or Rihanna, and CBS decided they’d rather fight with Rihanna.

CBS offered to premiere her version of the song this week, but obviously, RiRi isn’t having it.

In a recent statement to Buzzfeed, CBS stated:

“Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our Thursday Night Football open.”

Welp, there you have it.
