Lena Dunham Tells Howard Stern: "I'm Not That Fat!" (DETAILS)

Lena Dunham is having a wonderful week.

Fresh off the victory of her two Golden Globe awards and the premiere of Season 2 of her show GIRLS, nothing can bring Lena down. Not even a little bit of hate from the King of Media himself, Howard Stern.

The shock jock went on a rant about our girl Lena, saying:

"It's a little fat girl who kinda looks like Jonah Hill and she keeps taking her clothes off and it kind of feels like rape. She seems -- it's like -- I don't want to see that."

Lena thought the jokes were a bit cruel and eventually, so did Howard. The legendary radio host issued an apology: 

"I don't even know where to begin with all of this," an apologetic Stern began. "The reason I felt so awful was because when Perez Hilton wrote his article, he told half the story. ...I started to compare you to Woody Allen ... the whole thing came together for me.”

Lena and Howard squashed things out in a very funny and interesting way. 

"I thought that was a good line, actually," Stern chuckled, trying to make light of the situation.

Dunham responded gamely, but made sure to still get her point across.

"I'm not that fat, Howard," she said. "I don't mean to take major issue with you about this. I'm not super thin, but I'm thin for, like, Detroit."

We're glad to see these two were able to peace things up. Regardless of Lena's size, GIRLS is smart, hilarious and we love it!
