When Lauryn Hill released The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, her iconic debut album, singer Melanie Fiona was about 18-years-old. So it's understandable that Lauryn would be one of her idols.

Many close friends and colleagues have been writing letters to Lauryn's judge, and surprisingly, Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder were among those people who lobbied on her behalf.

The same lessons you taught us are applicable now. So Lauryn, baby girl, you got to practice what you preach. And take it from yourself, "change will come eventually." 

Lauryn's first song from the deal, called "Neurotic Society (Compulsory Mix)" gives us a taste of that throwback L Boogie we all know and love.

Wyclef appeared on Invasion Radio with DJ Green Lantern and Boss Lady. Boss Lady asked Clef about Lauryn's tax woes, and the rapper, who has a rocky relationship with his ex-Fugees co-star, surprisingly hadn't heard of her dilemma, but he was supportive.  

Lauryn Hill is being sued for eviction by her landlord, who claims the iconic R&B star has not made payments to her South Orange, New Jersey mansion. Hill began renting the home in 2009.

From rockers like Marilyn Manson, to rappers like Jim Jones, "vamp life" seems to be artists of every genre's darkest fantasy.   

Lauryn never responded to Clef's allegations, but during a show in Dallas recently, L Boogie finally addressed what she is calling the "deception," reiterating that the truth will always surface.
