Last night in New York, London, Chicago, Tokyo and Los Angeles, celebrities and their admirers clogged the streets, their favorite shopping centers and boutiques to shop and party like it was 2099!
Fans hoping to get a glimpse of their favorite celeb while buying a desired pair of shoes, sweaters, jeans, etc. were not disappointed with this year’s festivities which included performances, in store appearances and photo-ops galore! Some stores hired food trucks to keep the masses fed. We sampled lobster hot dogs, champagne, wine, green juices, ate cup cakes, and pushed our way from Lower Manhattan to the Midtown admiring the brave and bold fashionistas with an appetite for clothes and free food!
NYC was a madhouse! SoHo was clogged with Kim Kardashian fans who shut down multiple blocks. When Kim made an unexpected appearance at Saks, they asked her to leave because they couldn’t handle the paps or her stans!
Nicki Minaj fans were banging on Valentino’s door, Amar’e Stoudemire announced his coming collection, The Roots performed at John Varvatos, Solange DJ’d Lord & Taylor and Justin Beiber nearly shut down Dolce & Gabbana.
No matter where you were in the world, chances were you went home with a gift bag last night.
