Disgraced former Penn State defensive coordinator and accused pedophile, Jerry Sandusky is out on bail and walking the streets.

It doesn’t make sense that such an obvious threat to children would be allowed to walk free, until you take a close look at the way this case has been handled.

The judge who ordered Sandusky be released on a $100,000 unsecured bond was a volunteer at Sandusky’s charity, Second Mile. Her name is Leslie Dutchcot and she should have immediately excused herself from any involvement with this case because of an apparent conflict of interest. But she didn’t. It looks like the Old Boy Network is alive and well in the state of Pennsylvania.

STORY: Jerry Sandusky’s Alleged Victims Set To Testify!

Since Sandusky was set free on bail he has given two bizarre interviews that were supposed to clear his name. The first was a televised interview with Bob Costas in which Costas asked Sandusky if he was sexually attracted to young boys.

Any normal adult would have answered with an emphatic, “No.” But Sandusky paused and seemed unsure how to answer. “Am I sexually attracted to under aged boys?” he answered. “Sexually attracted? You know, I enjoy young people.

I love to be around them…but no, I am not sexually attracted to young boys.”

That was possibly the worst answer he could have given. (Other than, “Hell, yeah, I love little boys!)

In his latest debacle of an interview, this time with the New York Times, Sandusky tries to defend his bizarre answer with this bit of twisted logic; “If I say ‘No, I’m not attracted to boys,’ that’s not the truth because I am attracted to young people – boys, girls.” As if being attracted to young girls is okay.

This is clearly a man who has no grasp on reality. And judge Dutchcot determined that he was trustworthy enough to be let out on bail.

In both interviews Sandusky admits to showering with young boys, sleeping in the same hotel room with them, “blowing on their stomachs” and in general engaging in activities that any normal adult would stay away from.

With each interview he is not only giving the prosecution ammunition for their case against him, but also proving that he should not be out on the streets mingling among children.

Leslie Dutchcot should be ashamed of herself for letting this man loose. There is no excuse for letting and obviously sick man wander the streets.

The judge in this case let her personal relationship with Sandusky come before the public safety and for that she should be held accountable.
