The other day I’ve had drinks with a girlfriend talking about relationships and the feeling she had at the end of her last relationship. She said: ‘You know Racha, sometimes it’s really hard to explain why it ended but do you know the feeling when you sit in a restaurant with him eating, looking at him and thinking: I HATE IT WHEN YOU EAT!

I had to laugh so much because i had this feeling before. Sometimes the most random things get on your nerves. It’s one thing to get anxious about his throat clearing and spitting in the morning or the wired way he behaves infront of your stunningly beautiful girlfriends but the day you start getting upset about things like the way he talks, walks, breathes and eats i’d call it GAME OVER…

Love isn’t about accepting everything but loving everything about your partner. Things that you can do when you’re really in love but can’t do if you aren’t:

LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN WHEN YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM

KISS EACH OTHER GOOD MORNING WITHOUT THROWING IN THREE MINTS OR SNEAK OUT OF BED TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH!

WALK AROUND NAKED WHILE HANGING OUT

STAY IN BED TOGETHER ALL DAY ON SUNDAYS

I’ve once had a very sweet relationship with a man who was a few (a lot) older then me. One night we went for dinner with some of his friends at Nobu in Malibu. It was my first time i’ve eaten Sushi. For some reason we got all the attention at the restaurant so i was careful about my choice. He always suggested to order two things so we can share everything and try out more things. This is also something i adored about him… Anyhow since i had no clue what to order i’ve left it up to him. He promised me that i’d like it. Well we started eating and of course i’ve managed to bite into a wasabi-roll that wasn’t meant to be eaten with one bite. As my face turns fire red he opens his hand infront of my mouth and says friendly ‘spit it out love’. Now this is where i fell for him double or even tripple.

The most unsexy and unplanned things can be the most romantic sometimes and this is something you don’t forget. Otherwise i wouldn’t write about it six years after it happened.

I usually fall in love with them when I catch them at their weakest, unexpected and most ridiculous moments and i think this is when they fall in love with me too… 🙂
