YOOOOOOOOO hey young world. Nas here... Just wanted to check in with ya'll. Got a show this weekend in New Orleans. One of my favorite cities in the world. Last time I was out there with my daughter they showed me all the spots that Katrina hit the hardest. That sh*t was crazy. I commend the people who survived such a disaster and pray for those who didn't make it out.On another not though... A brotha is chillin man. About 75% done with this album that Damian Marley and I been working on. Its just great music man. Should have something in the streets in the next 2 weeks. I had a life changing moment last week mannnn. This young man by the name of Darnell from Pennsylvania had a wish to meet me through the Make a Wish foundation. I was buggin cuz he was only 13. He wasn't even born when "it was written" came out!!!! Haaaaaaaaaa. But man this guy was asking me the craziest questions... I couldn't believe how much he knew about the past. He is a true fan who does his research. One of the coolest hip hop fans I've ever met and I hope to keep in contact with him forever.

Yo Nas , When i was 19 you dropped the illmatic album. 34 now and it's still FIRE ! The make a wish foundation is a wonderful organazation. i'm into muscle cars and have read several magazines when the foundation has blessed several people with there dream car/hotrod. what they do is amazing.You should be honored to take part in something like that. What you did just by showing up to see Darnell is priceless.I hope to be blessed one day so that i can make a difference in someone's life for the best just as you have. Love youur music ,makes a dude think about sh*t.

yo esco what up u the illest man over the years i copped ya whole catalog over 20,000 times.there is no other artist that spit it the same.i dont know where 2 begin. dam.i got three brothers and one sister we all nas fans im the youngest at 26 and my oldest brother is 40 thats crazy.one day i was in south philly and blew some deisel with my man riq(BLACK THOUGHT)and we spent the day reciting ya whole sh*t til we rolled up again.i told him yall need to collaberate. he's a fan also.U and jay need 2 do a veterans tour sumthing crazy like:to be on this tour they gotta be legends slept on or not .artist like the great REAKWON+ghost+BEANS+LOX+AZ+MEGA+Showbiz+AG u know where im gettin at .congrats on the baby i just had my first child dec 2 it was a boy i named him the prophet ZEPHANIAH yo when u comming back to philly i never miss a date get back my n*gga p.s - u "flow tighter than a midgets closet" 02 sh*t....peace brother

Thats awesome!!! you wold be amazed at what kids know...especially with the internet! its gotta be an honor to just have that much influence on someone...out of all the things he could have gotten or people to meet or places to go he chose u...i'm happy that u embraced the moment as a life changing experience!!!

Wow..You inspire me to continue to achieve my goals and continue to touch peoples' lives in an uplifting manner. I plan to support foundations as such. As for New Orleans, I am hoping to get over there soon to really see it today b/c I know what's on T.V. isn't half of it. Peace & Blessings to everyone.

do people know what make a wish foundation is? the foundation grants wishes to people who are likely to pass away soon they do wonderful work i support them and u should too
