Common is one of the wisest and most knowledgeable voices in hip-hop today. That's why we’ve been waiting to hear his views on the troubling Trayvon Martin case that has been taking the country by storm over the last couple of months.

The veteran rap spitter was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night performing his latest single off of his The Dreamer, The Believer album.
As most hip-hop fans know, the Drake & Common beef has been the talk of rap town, and now Cash Money CEO/Founder Birdman weighs in on the beef.
A lot of people have been weighing in on the matter, but rapper Scarface tweeted something very interesting about the seriousness of rap beef, and Rick Ross totally co-signed.  
“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to pay our last respects to a 'friend' that has been dear to many musical artists, fans and readers....that 'friend' is HIP-HOP BEEF.”
